VYL 800 Subsea Trencher
The VYL800 is the latest-generation ROV-based subsea trencher, designed specifically for the burial of subsea cables, umbilicals, and small-diameter pipelines. It has powerful trenching capabilities, with a maximum trenching width of 600mm, enabling efficient and rapid subsea trenching operations under various soil conditions to meet diverse project requirements.
Equipped with a crawler-track mechanism, the VYL800 achieves free mobility underwater and adapts to complex seabed environments. It can be fitted with multiple sensors, including sonar, baseline, and depth gauges, ensuring precise positioning and operation control. Additionally, its robotic arm and adjustable high-flow or high-pressure jetting technology allow for efficient trenching under different soil conditions, further enhancing operational efficiency.
The VYL800 is widely used in applications such as subsea oil and gas pipeline burial, power and telecommunication cable burial, and subsea cable maintenance. Its jet sword can be adjusted for trenching widths between 100mm and 600mm, with trenching depths of up to 3 meters. With an operational speed of up to 1.5 km/h, the VYL800 provides efficient and flexible solutions for the installation and maintenance of subsea infrastructure.
